The Philippines is home to our Del Monte Philippines, Inc. operations.
The main office is in Manila while the plantation and cannery are in southern Philippines, which is about 1.5 hour flight from Manila. The beverage bottling plant is in Laguna which is about 1.5 hour drive from Manila.
We operate one of the world's largest integrated pineapple operations. The Group produces its pineapple in its 28,000-hectare plantation in an area ideal for growing and outside the typhoon belt.
The processing facility, situated about an hour away from the plantation, has an annual capacity to process about 700,000 tons of pineapples. The competitiveness of this operation is complemented by an on-site can-making operation.
Adjacent to the plantation is the frozen fruit processing facility which started commercial operations in May 2017.
